Peaks and Passions

The Rocky Mountains loom majestically against the high desert sky. At least they did when we drove through and I can only imagine the same holds true today as Greg arrives in Denver for the Canadian/ North American Annual Leadership Meeting for his company. We suspect (or perhaps are just daydreaming) that he is up for the companies Presidential Award. This distinguished recognition is accompanied with a championship ring with a single diamond setting. Consecutives wins add more diamonds. In addition to the bling, A 7 day paid vacation for two is also awarded. Its nice to dream the possibility of heading somewhere but where in the heck would we go? Maybe a tour of the Northwest in an attempt to determine where his next promotion could eventually lead us. Last week he was interviewed for a Regional position. We should hear the outcome of that soon. And Wednesday is the day the big news could drop. Its also my day off. I wonder how I am going to spend it?

Greg has only gotten out on the water once. It was a beautiful day and the bass was delicious.
