Bubble gum, duct tape and welding

None of those have anything to do with my childs birthday which is the primary reason for this post but they speak of mending peices together, of binding, securing. Which is a topic that has been playing on my mind. But more on that in a moment.

24. My darling child is 24. For the first time in a long time I feel highly hopeful for thier future lifelong outcomes. Will she still have challenges? Yes. But they will overcome. They are strong, radiant, and capable.

We went on a special beauty trip to salem NH this weekend. Willow had "won" a pampering session which she understood was some kind of microderm abrasion treatment. Turned out it was Mary Kay and the associate only did basic face care. We drove 3 hours and she didnt even do color palettes for us.

While that was a bit of a let down, the opertunity to enjoy the mall of rockingham and the local shopping was refreshing and time with Willow and the will be sister in law was precious. One additional treat was a stop at taco bell. Omg. It tastes as good as ever (my last taste was 10 or so years ago) Will this treat trigger an inabity to walk? Possibly. But Ill take it

The fall drive gave us a slight reminder of how short fall is in these parts
